The season two trailer for American Rust: Broken Justice dropped recently featuring Jeff Daniels, reprising his role of police chief Del Harris, an eternally glum character.
After the sudden, mysterious death of a former police officer in Pennsylvania’s rust belt in the rookie season is not quite solved by Harris, the upcoming season trailer for American Rust: Broken Justice returns to the fictional town of Buell, where a compromised Del and Grace Poe, played by Maura Teirney, try to rebuild their lives.
That is until the trailer the points out all the mysterious murders that might add up to a much larger conspiracy closing in on a tight-knit town. At one point, Harris can be heard in the background questioning, “We never really do move on, do we?”
The series, which is based on Philipp Meyer’s novel of the same name, Daniels and Tierney are joined by returning stars David Alvarez, Julie Mayorga, Alex Neustaedter, Mark Pellegrino, Kyle Beltran, and Rob Yang.
