“Mundian To Bach Ke,” originally sung by Punjabi musician Labh Janjua and produced by Panjabi MC, has been a public favourite since its release in 1998. Jay Z previously collaborated with Panjabi MC on a special edition of “Beware,” which was released in 2002.
Jay Z’s enthusiasm for the song is well known, as he stated in an interview, “I located the artist (Panjabi MC) and connected the very next day to ask whether I could remix the track.”
This current performance further adds to the song’s ongoing popularity and demonstrates Jay Z’s ability to fascinate audiences of all genres and ages.
This is not the first time “Mundian To Bach Ke” has been remixed. The song was reworked in 2018 for the Bollywood film “Baaghi 2,” featuring actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.
