Ginnifer Goodwin, best known for her role as Snow White on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, recently shared her excitement about the possibility of a reboot or sequel for the beloved fantasy series. During an interview with PEOPLE at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, Goodwin expressed her enthusiasm about revisiting the show’s magical world.

Goodwin revealed that she has heard rumors about a Once Upon a Time reboot and made it clear that she would be eager to return if it were to happen. “I hear these rumors too, and I’m definitely available if they decide to go ahead,” she said, noting that her proximity to Edward Kitsis, one of the show’s creators, keeps her informed about any potential updates.

Her desire to reprise her role was evident, as she playfully remarked, “I’d love to come back. It feels like my whole life revolves around the show—I’m married to Prince Charming, and now we have his kids.” Goodwin’s real-life husband, Josh Dallas, played Prince Charming on the series, and the couple met during filming. They now have two children together.

Once Upon a Time, which aired from 2011 to 2018, was known for its creative storytelling that mixed classic fairy tales with modern-day issues. Goodwin’s portrayal of Snow White was a central part of the show, which also featured a talented cast including Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills (The Evil Queen), Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin, and Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Snow White and Prince Charming’s daughter.

In addition to her Once Upon a Time nostalgia, Goodwin is currently working on Zootopia 2, reprising her role as Judy Hopps. The sequel to the 2016 animated hit is scheduled for release on November 26, 2025. Goodwin shared that returning to voice Judy Hopps feels like riding a bike, using the first movie as a guide to perfect her portrayal. She even mentioned wearing bunny ears during recording sessions to fully embrace her character.

While Once Upon a Time remains available on Disney+ and continues to attract viewers, the future of the series remains uncertain. Goodwin’s openness to returning suggests that there is still hope for fans who cherish the show’s fairy tale worlds. Her affection for the series and willingness to jump back into the role demonstrate how much the show has meant to her both personally and professionally.
