Coming off a busy award season, Erika Alexander, known for her roles in American Fiction and Living Single, has landed a series regular role in Apple’s Invasion for season 3. The series, which has been created by Simon Kinberg and David Well, is currently under production.
The actress has joined the star cast which includes Shioli Kutsuna, Golshifteh Farahani, India Brown, Shamier Anderson, Azhy Robertson, Billy Barratt, Tara Moayedi, Shane Zaza, and Enver Gjokaj.
Invasion follows an alien invasion through different perspective around the world. The character to be played by Erika is currently being kept under wraps. The first and second seasons are globally available for streaming on Apple TV+.
The actress is a standout and is known for portraying multilayered badass women who are not afraid to be vulnerable throughout her career. She is best known for bringing to life her character Maxine Shaw in the 90s hit series Living Single.
