Howard Stern, a shock jock, and Harry Styles got to know each other while recording for Stern’s SiriusXM radio show. Stern questioned the member of One Direction about fan theories asserting that “Daylight” from Harry’s House was all about none other than Taylor Swift as they were discussing a variety of topics, including the impending album. The title of the single, which is the same as a song by his former flame from her 2019 album Lovers, is the cause of the rumours.
Styles chuckled when Taylor’s name came up again, indicating that the song is about a woman who snubs him and leaves him feeling irritated. When the host noticed this, he said, “You’re smiling.” HS swiftly responded, “You know I’d love to tell you you’re spot-on, but you’re not.” And he continued, “We will always wonder.”
