Hailey Bieber prides herself on being transparent about her goals.
The creator of Rhode Beauty has continued to display subtly supportive gestures nearly three months after she and Selena Gomez publicly dispelled feud rumours. Most recently, Hailey liked an Instagram image the singer shared on June 11th.
Not to mention, just one day later, the model, who is wed to Selena’s ex Justin Bieber, sent a statement to her Instagram Stories addressing “hateful” remarks.
In her statement dated June 12, she stated, “If you’re leaving mean or rude comments on my behalf on anyone’s posts, just know that I don’t want that not do I ever or will ever support or condone hateful, mean, or nasty comments, Doing that is not supporting me.”
If you’re doing that, you’re a part of a culture that I don’t want to be a part of, Hailey said. Be polite or don’t say anything, please.
Selena, 30, wrote a comment on social media around the end of March criticising “hateful negativity” directed at Hailey, 26. (The “Wolves” singer’s note followed years of rumours that the two were at odds over Justin, 29, Selena’s ex.)
Selena then said on her Instagram Stories, “This isn’t what I stand for. “Hatred or bullying shouldn’t ever have to happen to anyone. I’ve always pushed for kindness and am desperate for this to end.
The following day, Hailey shared a letter of gratitude for the “Same Old Love” singer.

“I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks about how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,” Hailey’s message shared to Instagram Stories read. “The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this, which is extremely harmful.”
She went on to note that “moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together.”
“We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say including myself,” Hailey concluded. “In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.”
