Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot is all ready to come back as her much-loved DC comic Superhero, Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot’s ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ is one of the most anticipated films scheduled to release in the year 2020. The film will have DC’s Cheetah as villain, which is one the most iconic villains of the entire comic universe.
Gal Gadot, along with co-star Kristen Wiig, recently spilt the beans about a possible romantic tint between the two female characters.
In one of the interactions, actors of the film ‘WW 1984’ were asked about the theories emerging about a possible relationship between their characters, Diana Prince and Barbara Ann Minerva. Kristen Wiig asked if they were expecting a queer angle and Gal Gadot teased the audience a bit and said that there is some sexual tension always. She further added about the film that there will be a new battle, a new armour, new villains, edgier action and a reunion with a long-lost lover, the leading magazine reported.
The opening scene of the trailer of Wonder Woman 1984 features two gorgeous women sipping in their glass of white wine while discussing love and attraction. Since it looked more like a coordinated date, the viewers have come up with a theory of possibly hinting at a love angle between the two. The film is set to feature the comeback of Steve Trevor who was seen in the first instalment of the film. This again is creating lot of excitement in the minds of viewers. Apart from Steve, the audience would also witness the return of other characters like Antiope and Hippolyta. Wonder Woman 1984 is all set to release across the globe on August 14, 2020.
