Matthew Perry’s death has been a great loss to the Hollywood industry and his fans overall. The actor was loved by his fans in large numbers, as he rose to popularity from the famous show ‘Friends’. His death has come as a shock to many, as Perry was not only an astonishing actor but has helped many who were suffering just like him. It seems like Friends director James Burrows is finding it hard to comprehend the actor’s death.
James Burrows directed the initial episodes of Friends which includes the Pilot and ‘The One Where Monica Finds A Roomate’ and so on. He even revealed the entire cast of Friends was proud of Matthew, who has recovered tremendously over the past couple of years.
The director stated, “We were so proud of him these last couple of years that he was making this remarkable recovery.”
He further added that he was a part of the family and here he is the first to not be a part of the family anymore. I texted Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox when we found out about the incident. They were destroyed. It felt like a brother dying.
The creators of the Friends show David Crane and Marta Kauffman on Today Show revealed that the late actor seemed in a pretty good state when they called him two weeks before his death. Matthew didn’t seem to be pushed down by anything and he was doing good. This is why his passing away so abruptly comes as a shock and is unfair.
Matthew Perry passed away in the house in Los Angeles on Saturday. The cause of his death is still unknown.
