Eric Graise has been absent from five consecutive episodes of Tracker, but his return may be on the horizon. His co-star Fiona Rene recently hinted at his comeback before the conclusion of season 2.
During a discussion with TV Insider, Rene expressed enthusiasm for upcoming guest stars, specifically mentioning Chris Lee, who plays Bobby’s cousin, Randy. Lee’s character was introduced in February, explaining that Bobby was dealing with family matters. However, Bobby has not been referenced on screen since, leading to speculation about Graise’s prolonged absence.
Concerns over cast changes grew after Robin Weigert’s departure from the show. Weigert’s character, Teddi, was written out in the season 2 premiere, with her wife, Velma, stating that they needed time apart. Since then, Velma has continued to work with Reenie, played by Rene, without further mention of Teddi.
Despite cast adjustments, Tracker has maintained strong ratings. The season 2 premiere in October 2024 attracted 8.3 million viewers, marking a nearly 10 percent increase from the previous season’s finale. The show has consistently secured top spots in primetime rankings, earning recognition as the most-watched broadcast premiere since NCIS bid farewell to Mark Harmon in 2021.
While the series has faced scheduling disruptions, lead actor and executive producer Justin Hartley remains invested in his character, Colter. He described Colter as a skilled survivalist who operates outside the law to serve justice. Hartley emphasized that Colter is not an antihero but rather a businessman who bends rules to help those in need.
Tracker continues to air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, with episodes available for streaming on Paramount+ the following day.
