On May 18, at Yamashiro Hollywood in Los Angeles, Dr. Luke received the ASCAP award for pop music songwriter of the year.
Instead of the official 2023 ASCAP Pop Music Awards, a private party was organised, honouring ASCAP honorees. This is Dr. Luke’s third win in this category. In the history of 40 years, only three songwriters have won pop music songwriter of the year three or more times at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
