Dee Snider, famously known as the frontman of Twisted Sister, recently shed light on the ongoing speculation surrounding a potential reunion of Skid Row with their former vocalist, Sebastian Bach. Speaking candidly with TMZ amidst his focus on promoting his Rock Legends documentary, Snider addressed the rift that has kept the band and Bach apart for years.

Despite maintaining good relations with both Bach and Skid Row guitarist Dave Sabo, Snider emphasized that significant obstacles prevent a reunion. “Until they get over themselves, it’s never gonna happen,” Snider asserted, dismissing any hopes for a reconciliation on stage. His blunt assessment underscored the deep-seated differences that continue to overshadow any possibility of collaboration.

Reflecting on Bach, who was pivotal during Skid Row’s heyday, Snider acknowledged his intensity while expressing genuine affection: “Sebastian Bach is a very intense dude, and I love him,” he shared, highlighting the complexities that have colored their relationship over the years.

Meanwhile, Dave Sabo, speaking to The Hook Rocks, echoed Snider’s sentiments about the reunion prospects. Sabo, alongside bandmates Scotti Hill and Rachel Bolan, has been adamant about moving forward without revisiting the past. “We don’t wanna go down that road again,” Sabo affirmed, reflecting on the band’s unified stance against a reunion with Bach despite ongoing fan enthusiasm and speculation.

The band’s journey since parting ways with Bach in 1996 has seen multiple vocalists, including Erik Gronwall, who departed due to health reasons. Gronwall’s tenure was marked by energetic releases that resonated with dedicated fans, such as “Monkey Business,” “Tear it Down,” and “Rattlesnake Shake.” His departure due to acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2021 underscored the band’s tumultuous history and ongoing challenges in maintaining stability at the forefront.

Following Bach’s departure, Skid Row regrouped with Johnny Solinger as their vocalist in 1999, navigating a changing musical landscape while striving to honor their legacy. Despite the trials and tribulations, Skid Row remains a steadfast force in rock music, navigating personal and professional challenges with resilience and determination.
