The singer, who has been in the spotlight since her legal struggle, had been exhibiting ‘erratic’ behaviour that her spouse could no longer endure. As a result, Sam chose to leave their joint home and live alone.
Sam filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the breakup. The paper also states that Sam has yet to completely determine both parties’ assets and liabilities. Britney’s financial assets will not be negotiated because they signed a prenuptial agreement. However, according to Page Six, Sam has threatened to publish humiliating information about Britney if the prenup is not renegotiated.
Britney has recruited renowned divorce attorney Laura Wasser, who is well-known for representing celebrities. Sam and Britney initially met when he starred in one of her music videos in 2016. He supported her during her legal fights with her father. The couple has chosen to marry in 2021.
