Britney Spears addresses an open letter to her son Jayden after he made a statement concerning the singer’s mental health

Following her boys’ public disclosure of their relationship with their mother, Britney Spears delivers a message for them.

After her boys Jayden and Sean Preston recently revealed their positions on their mother, American singer-songwriter Britney Spears sent a letter to them. Nearly a week after removing her profile from the social media site, the singer of “Hold Me Closer” is back with a letter written to her boys, according to E! News.

Following the earlier publication of a written extract from a documentary made with her sons, their father, and his wife Victoria, Britney has penned a letter to her kids. Jayden talked openly about his mother in it and expressed his belief that their relationship “may be repaired with time and effort.” Britney has now complied with her boys’ requests.

“I’ve tried to my best at being the best person I can be…to be basically held hostage in homes under nurses and bulls–t. I hope my kids one day understand my reasoning,”  Britney posted on Instagram

The Grammy winner also included her oldest child, Sean Preston, in her statement, showcasing his passion for both music and art. “I am aware of your talent, Preston. You are a teacher in my life, and I am a teacher to you, too, lovely kid! It’s awful to witness your father act hypocritically, complaining about the media while having you provide sensitive information with them.”

Federline and Spears wed in October 2004 after more than 10 months of dating. In July 2007, their divorce was finalised. The two ex-spouses began a social media battle when Federline shared three recordings that he claimed the celebrity was using to chastise their children.
