Season 2 will soon go into the production stage and now fans have 2 more seasons to look forward to. Bela Bajaria, head of global TV in Netflix admitted that Bridgerton was something special. “Bridgerton swept us off our feet,” she said, adding that they will be in the “Bridgerton business for a long time to come.”

“Well, this is a complicated show to make. Although it’s a period, it’s an invented world in a lot of ways, with very subtle, relatable, modern aspects. To build that world up season after season takes a lot of preparation. Developmentally, it’s amazing because you can start to plant flags as you go,” Betsy Beers said about the much-loved show.

The Bridgerton team had earlier announced that Regé-Jean Page, who played the character of Simon, won’t be appearing in season 2. “Dearest Readers, while all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Regé-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings,” Lady Whistledown announced.
