Blake Lively is really excited about her friend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and is actually cheering for Taylor to make her concerts longer. While Lively is busy promoting her new film, It Ends With Us, she took some time to talk about Taylor on the BBC’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
Blake, who’s been to several of Taylor’s concerts, enjoyed herself immensely, dancing and singing along. Just like other fans and celebrities, she wished the show could last even longer. During a fun segment of the interview, Lively praised Taylor and her music.
In this segment, the host played a game called Unpopular Opinions, where they took a call from someone with a controversial opinion. This caller said that Taylor Swift’s hit song “Love Story” shouldn’t be part of the Eras Tour. Lively reacted with surprise, saying, “Ooh, that’s rough,” and added, “Do you just dislike happiness and joy, or is it that you don’t like your ears?”
The caller explained that while he doesn’t dislike the song, he feels there are better tracks on Taylor’s album and thinks a less well-known song should get the spotlight instead.
Blake Lively quickly chimed in, sharing her own opinion: “Honestly, I wish the tour could last like 47 hours so all the songs could be played. So my popular opinion is that all the songs, from beginning to end, should be performed during the tour.”
Taylor Swift’s concerts usually run for three to four hours, featuring 44 to 46 songs. Blake, along with her husband and kids, attended Taylor’s show in Madrid, and she was also seen enjoying the concert with her children in Philadelphia.
Taylor Swift will perform next at Wembley Stadium on August 15. Meanwhile, Blake Lively is getting positive reviews for her role in It Ends With Us, which is currently in theaters
