Right after the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris, Beyoncé pumped up Team USA with a promotional ad showcasing the athletes competing in the upcoming events.

Dressed in a patriotic red, white, and blue outfit, Beyoncé cheered for the U.S. team wearing a bodysuit, blue cowboy hat, and white cowboy boots. She highlighted a few team members, including Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Caeleb Dressel, and Katie Ledecky, with her song “YA YA” from her latest album “Cowboy Carter” playing in the background.

“Check out America, everyone,” Beyoncé said. “These hopes and dreams, these superstars represent us. This big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation. We’re all cheering for them. You’ve gotta love Noah and Sha’Carri, the fastest man and woman on the planet. They’ll race anyone, anytime. And Caeleb? Proud dad, back in the pool for more gold. And Katie? The longer the race, the better she swims. And you know my girl Simone. Born to fly, destined to inspire. We’ve got superstars and legends. We’ve got big dreamers who gave up everything for this shot and made it.”

As images of the athletes flashed across the screen, Beyoncé expressed her support for Team USA in the Olympics. “That pride and joy? That’s what I love about this team. It makes me believe in them. I can’t wait to see what they achieve in the next 16 days. America, let’s cheer for Team USA, the very best of us. What a vision. What a team. What a night to celebrate.”

The opening ceremony featured athletes arriving on the Seine and performances from various artists. Lady Gaga performed “Mon truc en plumes,” and Celine Dion made a powerful comeback with “Hymne A L’Amour.”

Recently, Beyoncé supported the United States by allowing Kamala Harris’ campaign to use her song “Freedom” in a promotional ad. While she hasn’t endorsed any candidate yet, she previously supported President Joe Biden and Harris in the 2020 election.
