Abi Morgan’s UK produced, U.S. produced short drama series, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as a desperate father searching for his son in 1980s New York, will launch globally on the streamer on May 30. You can see a first look at the show above.
Benedict is also serving as an executive producer on the show, which is being backed by Chernobyl producer Sister. The show also stars Gaby Hoffman, Dan Fogler, McKinley Belcher III, and Phoebe Nicholls. The star cast is being rounded by Ivan Howe, Clarke Peters, David Denman, Adepero Odyue, Alexis Molnar, Bamar Kane, and Roberta Colindrez.
The series, which will be releasing in six parts, is from The Split writer Morgan. It was first unveiled as a part of five strong Netflix UK drama slate that also included the recent One Day adaptation.
