The well-known American television personality Nick Cannon will now take over as the host of the renowned programme Beat Shazam in place of Jamie Foxx. Since Foxx was hospitalised due to health difficulties, there have been numerous reports about Cannon’s involvement with the show.
It has been reported that the original Beat Shazam host would step down from the programme permanently to concentrate on his health. In response to the reports, Nick Cannon has recently stated that he would in fact present Beat Shazam.
Nick Cannon finally talked about taking over as the new host of Beat Shazam in a recent interview with Extra. The well-known actor revealed that he will take over as the show’s host from Jamie Foxx. The original host Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx have given their approval for Cannon to take on the new job, he continued.
“I was actually working on something else and they say, ‘Jamie wants you to do this.’ And I was like, ‘I’ll do anything for Jamie’… I got the blessing from him and Corrine Foxx,” revealed Nick Cannon his chat with Billy Bush, the host of Extra.
Jamie Foxx’s health situation was also discussed by the new Beat Shazam host, who said he wishes to keep it private. If you’ve observed, Jamie has always been someone who is highly professional and extremely discreet, which is something I’ve always liked about how he’s moved throughout his entire career, the man stated.
Billy Bush later said they “understood” Jamie Foxx had suffered a stroke and was recovering, and he questioned Nick Cannon about whether he would be able to provide any further information. But the new Beat Shazam host withheld any further information, saying: “I’m probably in the same boat as you. The information that is out there is the information that they want to be out there.”
