‘Beat Shazam’ reportedly gets a new host as Jamie Foxx is still hospitalised

The Oscar-winning actor Jamie Fox has been admitted to the hospital for more than 3 weeks now and is still on bed rest. It seems like Jamie won’t be hosting the game show ‘Beat Shazam’ due to his poor health conditions. Along with that, her daughter Corinne Foxx will also not be a part of the upcoming season.

The filming for the new episodes has begun and it has been known that the reality show has already found a new host for the latest season in Jamie’s absence. As for Corinne, she would be taking care of her father in the hospital situated in Atlanta.

On the 13th of April, Corinne announced her father’s health situation through an Instagram post. She captioned it by writing, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Jamie had been spotted shooting for his next film ‘Back in Action’ with Cameron Diaz and just before that he was been taken to the hospital. According to a source that has confided to ‘People’ said, “Doctors are running tests, but he’s awake and alert, they’re keeping him under observation.”
