Netflix is doubling down on Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The streamer has renewed the lavish live-action adaption of the Nicklodeon series for two more seasons.

The order will conclude the story of Aang’s journey onto becoming the Avatar in the fantastical world.

Since its debut on February 2022, the series has been Netflix’s top English TV show with 41.1 million views, according to streamer.

While the first season consisted a total of eight episodes, the streaming giant has shared nothing regarding the number of episodes in upcoming seasons. Meanwhile, it must be noted that this is not the first time that streaming service has ordered two seasons at once, as it has earlier been down with Emily in Paris and Stranger Things. However, this is the first time that Netflix has ordered two seasons, in order to bring an end to the show.

The Avatar animated show likewise told its story across three seasons.

The story follows the young Avatar, Aang (Gordon Cormier), who is mastering the art of four elements – water, earth, fire, and air – to restore the balance to a world threatened by the Fire Nation.
