Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have parted ways with Scooter Braun’s management company, SB Projects. This follows J Balvin’s exit in May, as well as rumours that Braun’s prodigal son Justin Bieber had gone, but both Bieber and Braun’s representatives have denied that allegation.
Lovato broke ways with Braun last month and is now looking for new representation. Braun has represented the artist since 2019. Grande’s separation from Braun was also reported by Billboard and Puck News’ Matthew Belloni. Grande signed with SB Projects in 2013.
Ariana Grande, who joined the list of superstars who may be leaving Braun, was reported by Puck’s Matthew Belloni on August 21 to have severed her managerial connection with Scooter Braun, just after Demi Lovato’s revelation surfaced. Matthew added, ‘NEWS: Ariana Grande has parted away with Scooter Braun as her manager.’
Demi Lovato has not verified the state of her working connection with Scooter, but she is looking for a new management company.Braun sold his company to HYBE, a Korean entertainment organisation, in 2021. He is now the CEO of HYBE America. He was instrumental in HYBE’s acquisition of Quality Control, another music label. Braun’s company still represents singers like Justin Bieber. Braun has lost Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and J Balvin in just 48 hours.
