Kathryn Arnold, the actress’s witness, spilled a few secrets from an early version of the Aquaman 2 script. Kathryn is an entertainment industry specialist who testified to highlight the harm done to Amber’s career as a result of Johnny Depp’s claim in a 2020 interview that she planned an “abuse hoax” against him. She took the stand on Monday to testify about the same issue.
Amber Heard alleged a week ago that Warner Bros had reduced her role as Mera in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. According to the actress, Warner Bros initially did not want her to return to Aquaman 2. She claims she “worked really hard” to get into the movie and that she was offered various drafts, with later versions removing parts involving her character, including action sequences.

Amber tried to keep the spoilers from Aquaman 2 out of the trial. Kathryn, on the other hand, went even further, recalling what the actress had said regarding the revisions to an early draft of the script. She said, “I believe that in the first act of the movie, she was injured somehow, or it had something to do with a baby.”
Kathryn Arnold indicated that she has not read the script and is relying solely on Amber’s information. Amber’s witness talked more about the film, saying, “(Mera) ends up in the hospital early in this new Aquaman 2 movie and doesn’t really come out until the end to kind of wrap things up. All the interactions with Momoa’s character, and certainly the action scenes, were taken out.”
Kathryn further added that Amber “trained 5 hours a day for several months with the trainer to do this big action sequence.” But, she didn’t even know that her role was reduced until Amber went to shoot the film. “So [her role] was radically reduced from what it was in the script and what she even trained for while she was preparing for the movie,” added Kathryn.
