Foundation, Apple TV+ series from Skydance TV, is set to resume production on its upcoming third season March 6 in the Czech Republic capital Prague and Poland, as per the reports by Deadline. Jared Harris and Lee Pace, who will be starring in the sci-fi drama, were notified about the principal photography start date, sources said.
As per the media outlet’s report, the re-start of production on season 3, originally slated for February was postponed earlier this month, due to budgeting and physical production prompting the delay. The report also added that cast and crew, who had already convened for the shoot, were asked to return home until the issues were resolved, with the budget being brought down.
The process is now completed and the upcoming season will be finished. David S. Goyer, who directed season 1 and 2, will complete his writing and directing and won’t be returning as director for season three. However, he will remain as an executive producer.
