Aaron Erb might not have lasted long on The Bachelorette Season 21, but he’s certainly making waves on social media, for better or worse, after his abrupt departure from the show.
Why Did Aaron Leave?
In Episode 3, Aaron, who is the brother of popular Bachelor Nation contestant Noah Erb, faced a tough choice. He got a call from flight school saying it was now or never if he wanted to become a fighter pilot. After a lot of thinking and not getting the group date rose he needed, Aaron decided he wasn’t a match for Jenn Tran and chose to leave the show to follow his dream.
Before leaving, Aaron caused a bit of drama by suggesting there were contestants who weren’t there for the right reasons, seemingly targeting Devin Strader. He didn’t name anyone directly, but his comments left Jenn in a tough spot and led to a flood of negative reactions from fans:
- “Starts drama then leaves…”
- “Aaron is so many 🚩🚩🚩🚩”
- “He pulled the pin on a grenade and rolled it in the house on his way out 😂”
Aaron’s Social Media Struggles
Despite the backlash, Aaron is trying to turn things around by posting on social media, especially TikTok. Unfortunately, his attempts haven’t been received well. His TikTok videos have been described as cringy, and fans are not impressed.
In one video, Aaron shared a moment sipping iced coffee from Starbucks with the caption, “A love affair between starbies & my wallet,” set to Tinashe’s “Nasty.” Instead of charming viewers, it seems to have made things worse.
Another video featured two shirtless mirror selfies with a caption about embracing his sensitive side, set to GRAHAM’s “Pull You Closer.” While the photos might have been eye-catching, the text and the overall vibe didn’t resonate well with his audience.
Will Aaron Change?
Whether Aaron will heed the viewers’ feedback and stop posting or continue with his current approach remains to be seen. For now, fans are left wondering who will ultimately win Jenn’s heart. The remaining contestants include Jonathon Johnson, Grant Ellis, Spencer Conley, Marcus Shoberg, Sam McKinney, Jeremy Simon, and Devin Strader. To find out who’s the perfect match for Jenn, tune in to new episodes of The Bachelorette Season 21, airing on Mondays on ABC. My money’s on Marcus!
