Fighter trailer review; Hrithik Roshan takes the limelight in the entire three-minute, nine-second trailer

Siddharth Anand directorial Fighter has been debated for a long as a blatant copy of Tom Cruise’s Top Gun. However, after the trailer has dropped today, it promises a perfect deshbhakti film.

Siddharth Anand directorial Fighter has been debated for a long as a blatant copy of Tom Cruise’s Top Gun. However, after the trailer has dropped today, it promises a perfect deshbhakti film. The makers drop the action-filled first trailer of the film starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Karan Singh Grover and Anil Kapoor in the lead. The video gives a glimpse of the story set in the backdrop of India vs Pakistan. The trailer begins with a background dialogue where Hrithik’s Patty says, “Fighter vo nahi jo apne targets achieve karta hai, Fighter vo hai jo unhe thok deta hai.”

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone play aviators who first find each other arrogant but slowly fall in love with each other. While Hrithik takes the limelight, Deepika is hardly seen in the trailer. Also, we see Akshay Oberoi but not Karan Singh Grover.

In the trailer, Hrithik mouths the most heroic dialogue as he plays a Fighter torn between love for his country. While the actor chants Jai Hind, the background music score of Fighter playing on Vande Mataram is perfect.

The trailer is full of VFX work which doesn’t qualify for a film starring massive stars like Hrithik and Deepika. Especially considering this is Hrithik’s first appearance since Vikram Vedha in 2022 and his first big-budgeted mass actioner since War in 2019, Fighter generates a lot of expectations.

Starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi, Fighter is ready to release on January 25, 2024.
