New details have emerged surrounding the death of Victoria Jones, with law enforcement sources telling TMZ that drug use may have played a role in the hours leading up to her passing.

According to TMZ, first responders were called to the Fairmont San Francisco early Thursday morning, where Victoria was found unresponsive. Authorities at the scene reportedly observed a bluish tinge on her lips and fingernails, a sign that immediately raised concerns of a possible drug overdose.

As per the same report, sources familiar with the investigation stated that a female witness at the hotel told emergency personnel that Victoria had been using cocaine earlier that night. The witness was part of a small group, consisting of three to four people, who were staying at the hotel to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

TMZ further reported that Victoria had a documented history of legal issues prior to her death. In one previous arrest related to drug possession, police records indicate that she admitted to using cocaine. Months later, she was arrested again following an alleged domestic dispute, during which a man accused her of slapping him after an argument that reportedly centered on her drug use.

As of now, authorities have not officially confirmed a cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing. No final toxicology results have been released at the time of publication.
