Earlier, under the process of unlock, Central Government had allowed film shootings to proceed with certain limitations and guidelines. But as the COVID-19 cases are once again on the rise, Government may re-impose ban on shooting activities.

A Government source has informed the writer of Spotboye, “It is now felt that the decision to re-open cinemas and resume shooting was premature. We should have waited until next year when the COVID situation would be clearer. Shooting at the moment is not safe.”

On the other side, Saif Ali Khan has taken a paternity leave from the shooting of ‘Bunty Aur Babli,’ as he thinks that completing the shoots in this COVID-19 era is not safe for his family.

On Sunday, her wife Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to their second boy child. So preventing their new born baby from virus infection, Saif Ali Khan has decided to take a leave.

Also, the shooting of Karan Johar’s production ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ after halting the shoot for a while, as the lead actors Varun Dhawan, Neetu Singh and director Raj Mehta had tested COVID-19 positive.
