The year 2020 has brought a lot much sadness to the Indian Film and Television Industry. Legendary actors such as Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, music composer Wajid Khan, and Sushant Singh Rajput has succumbed to death due to various reasons. Adding to the list, Senior Television actress, Zarina Roshan Khan passed away at the age of 54 due to cardiac arrest. The actress is very well known for the role of Indu Dadi in the TV serial, Kumkum Bhagya, and was loved a lot by the audience.
Her co-stars, Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia have taken to their Instagram to express their sorrow over the demise of the actor. Sriti Jha shared a photo of herself with the late senior actor and wrote a caption which has a shattered red heart in the caption whereas Shabir has shared a photo in which he is kissing Zarina on her cheek with a caption which reads, “Ye chand sa Roshan Chehera “

In a conversation with Times of India, co-star Anurag Sharma was quoted saying, “The news is true and very shocking. She was a sweet lady, full of life. Even at this age she was so energetic. I think she worked as a stunt woman at the beginning of her career and she was exactly like a fighter in real life. I shot with her last month and we had a good time. She was all fine, but suddenly this news came today in our group. I pray her soul rests in peace.”
