Shashikala Om Prakash Saigal passed away on Sunday (April 4) at the age of 88.

The late actress has played supporting roles in over hundreds of Bollywood films. Shashikala worked in films like Phool Aur Patthar, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Gumrah, Waqt, Teen Batti Char Raasta, Khubsoorat etc. and also was part of TV shows like Sonpari and Jeena Isi ka Naam hai.
She was recently seen in TV serials like, Jeena isi ka naam hai and Apnapan.
However, the family of the late actress is yet to release a statement regarding the same.
