Alia Bhatt embraced motherhood at the peak of her career post her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor in 2022. They had some criticism over her decision of getting pregnant shortly after marriage, many had praised for her decision.
Her sister-in-law and Ranbir’s cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan in an old interview had said that the actress is the bravest and coolest for taking the decision.
Kareena was quick to clarifying that her admiration was not because she is a relative but it was rather because Alia is on of the most talented starlet in the industry at the moment. Kareena appreciated Alia’s decision of understanding the essence of motherhood bidding the man she loves, full of affection respect her choice.
Last year, during one of her makeup tutorial, Alia had admitted that her actor husband does not like her applying lipstick and repeatedly asks her to “wipe it off.” While she did clarify that it was in appreciation of her natural lips, a certain section on the netizens labelled Ranbir as “toxic.”
Alia had later defended it during her appearance on Koffee With Karan.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will be soon in Dharma Productions backed Jigraa, which also stars Vedang Raina.
