Rakhi Sawant, an actress and former Bigg Boss contestant, was hospitalised on Tuesday (May 14), purportedly owing to a serious heart problem. Several now-viral photos show the Main Hoon Na actress sleeping in a hospital bed.
The photographs have stunned and outraged her followers, and Rakhi has reportedly been diagnosed with a heart condition. On Wednesday, while presenting Rakhi’s health update, her ex-husband Ritesh Singh stated that she is ‘critical’.
In an Instagram video taken by a paparazzi, Ritesh is heard stressing that this is not a prank or a joke.
“Rakhi has made an image of herself because of which people always feel she is joking. But this is not a joke. People call her drama queen but this time it is serious. She is critical in hospital,” Ritesh is heard saying in the video.
He also urged people to pray for Rakhi and wished for her speedy recovery.
Rakhi told Times Now that she had been ordered to rest for the next five to six days. She added that she has been diagnosed with a ‘heart condition’ and that she is unable to provide further specifics. The actress also wanted privacy.
