On the eve of Gudi Padwa on Tuesday morning, actress Janhvi Kapoor was spotted visiting and requesting blessings at the revered Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. Smruti Shinde, the mother of her partner, Shikhar Pahariya, was with her, so she wasn’t really alone.
On Tuesday, Janhvi went to the temple at approximately six in the morning to prevent the fans’ commotion and the trouble to the residents later. She stepped out of her car looking stunning in a basic salwar suit and barefoot.
A representative of the temple trust was seen escorting the actress and Shikhar’s mother inside as they made their barefoot trek from Bandra to Siddhivinayak.
Shikhar usually goes with Janhvi when she visits different temples and places of worship, but on this particular day, he decided not go.
In the meantime, during a recent interview, Janhvi’s father, Boney Kapoor,
confirmed the actress’s relationship with Shikhar and said he was fortunate to have him in their lives.
“He is, and any person who has been there for you in any capacity, whether it is for Janhvi, whether it is for me, whether it is for Arjun, he is friendly to all. I feel we are really blessed to have somebody like him in our setup,” the producer had said.
Shikhar was spotted going with Janhvi to the Tirupati Balaji temple last month on her birthday. The two of them walked miles in bare feet and ascended the temple’s steps on their hands and knees to ask Lord Ayappa for blessings.
Regarding his career, Janhvi has several releases scheduled for 2024. Her next film appearance is Mr & Mrs Mahi, where she reunites with Rajkummar Rao, her co-star from Roohi. Ulajh is also present in her cat.
In addition, she will star in two big-budget southern productions: Devara, starring Jr. NTR, and an untitled Ram Charan movie.
