Creator Viraj Ghelani has moderated his position, admitting that his time on Jawan was not entirely negative, and that he could have presented his comments differently.
In the days following his remark that working on director Atlee Kumar’s Shah Rukh Khan – led Jawan as his “worst experience ever,” YouTuber and content creator Viraj has softened his take, and also mentioned that his comments “were blown out of proportion.”
On a previous episode of The Having Said That Show podcast, Viraj was questioned about his cameo in Jawan, to which he explained, “Don’t talk. F*ck. Why did I do it? People are very sweet who watched the film for me that I watched your part. But it was my worst experience ever.”
He maintained that these films led by famous actors do not view content creators as important. Viraj was critical of the work culture present on the Jawan set. The creator lamented that his scenes were cut, even though he had worked on the film for 10-15 days, leading to a brief appearance that you could easily miss. He remarked, referring, “Creators are cast for their clout only.”
