Post, Gangster Vikas Dubey’s death, netizens are pointing out similarities between the encounter and Rohit Shetty’s movies

The news of gangster Vikas Dubey killing eight policemen in Kanpur has been floating around since last Friday when he committed that crime. He was on the run when he was caught by the UP police in a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district. 24 hours later of him being held captive, the news broke out that the wanted gangster had died in an encounter with the UP Police which was a complete shock for the entire nation.

The latest report states that the gangster was trying to escape when the police van was overturned on their way to Kanpur. “The car overturned and policemen and the accused were injured. Then Vikas Dubey grabbed a gun from an injured policeman and ran. The police team caught up and surrounded him and tried to get him to surrender, but he refused and started firing. The police had to fire back in self-defence,” the Kanpur police said in a statement.

While this news has made a fuzz around the social media and news media and people have been speculating that the encounter may be a fake. Netizens have been frequently seen comparing this encounter to the films of Rohit Shetty.
