Sherni’s Vidya Balan Sherni and Cold Case’s Prithviraj Sukumaran came together onscreen for the first time after 10 years, and it was a pleasure for the buffs. Both of the movies managed to woo the audience with their striking storyline. The actors reconnected on a virtual chat about their films and the audience response towards them.
It was in the 2011 Malayalam movie Urmi we saw Vidya and Prithviraj together on screen. In the virtual chat, available on Amazon Primes official YouTube channel, both of the actors not only talked about the good old past days and the memories created together in Urmi, but also discussed about their latest releases Cold Case and Sherni.

Cold Case, on one hand, is a police procedural and an extraordinary thriller at the same time, with two characters independently coming at the same questions and answers that lead to unraveling a puzzle.
Whereas, Sherni sees Vidya Balan forest officer named Vidya, whose new assignment is to track down a distressed tigress, which has left villagers and locals terrorized.
While Prithviraj Sukumaran will be next seen in the period drama directed by S. Mahesh ‘Kaaliyan’ in the titular role, Vidya is yet to announce her upcoming projects.
