Sunny Kaushal in a interview revealed, “Mom and dad jokingly said, ‘Hey man, you are engaged, Mithai toh khila de.’ To this Vicky immediately replied, “Jitni asli sagai (engagement) hui hai, utni asli mithai bhi khaa lo”.

The news of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s roka ceremony went viral on social media recently. However, this was a complete rumour. Now Vicky Kaushal’s brother Sunny Kaushal told what was the reaction of his parents on these news.

In a conversation with Spotboye, Sunny Kaushal said, ‘I remember Vicky went to the gym in the morning, when this rumor started spreading. When he returned, mom and dad jokingly said, ‘Hey man, you are engaged, Mithai toh khila de.’ To this Vicky immediately replied, “Jitni asli sagai (engagement) hui hai, utni asli mithai bhi khaa lo”. We do not know from where this rumor spread but we laughed a lot after hearing this.

However, in a conversation with Zoom TV, Sonam Kapoor’s brother Harshvardhan Kapoor confirmed the relationship between Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. Harshvardhan was asked which Bollywood relationship rumours he believes to be true? To which the actor reportedly replied, ‘Vicky and Katrina are together, it’s true… for saying so, am I going to get into trouble? I do not know. I think they are very open about it.

However, according to the report of Bollywood Life, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were very upset with these news of engagement. It was not known whose PR team leaked the news of the engagement.

Both Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have many films in their hands and both want their work to be discussed in the media and not about the relationship. Vicky has Sardar Udham Singh biopic, The Immortal Ashwatthama, Takht and Sam Bahadur in pipeline. Katrina, on the other hand, is nowadays shooting for Tiger 3 in Turkey with Salman Khan. Additionally, her projects comprise of Sooryavanshi, Phone Bhoot and Jee Le Zaraa.
