Vicky Kaushal is currently basking in the success of his recently released film, Chhaava, wherein he is playing the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, has been shattering records at the box office. The actor has often proved his versatility with his selection of films such as Maasan, URI: The Surgical Strike, Sanju, Sam Bahadur, to name a few. However, there is this one film he regrets rejecting.
The film turned out to be a massive blockbuster, and fans fell with love with its storyline, cast, and every bit of it. So much that its sequel broke all the records at the box office.
The film we are talking about is Stree. During the actor’s appearance on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, Vicky was asked to share a name of one film which he regrets rejecting. “Stree, that was because I was doing Manmarziyaan,” said Vicky.
The movie later went to Rajkummar Rao, along with whom also starred Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khuranna. While the first part collected around Rs. 180 crore at the box office, the second part shattered the box office and made around Rs. 850 crore, overtaking films like Jawan and Animal.
