The actor made his acting debut in the Tamil film ‘Senthamizh Pattu’ before moving on to the films “Sethupathi IPS,” “Kattumarakkaran,” and “Mappillai Gounder.” Khan appeared in a number of well-known Tamil films, including Kalaignan, Sethupathi IPS, Duet, Murai Maman, Aanazhagan, and Karuppu Nila, to name a few. He alternated between playing the villain and an actor who provides comedic relief. Pattaya Kelappu, his final Tamil film, was released in 2008.

Khan’s co-star in films like CID Moosa, The Don, and Ivan Maryadaraman, actor Dileep, also lamented his passing.

Khan appeared in more than 50 films in Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil. Despite not having South Indian ancestry, the actor has acknowledged in various media appearances that South fans have showed him a lot of love and respect.
