National Award Winner and Veteran actress Surekha Sikri, popularly known as Dadisa from Balika Vadhu and Badhaai Ho, was admitted to hospital after she had a brain stroke. Later, it was confirmed by her manager that Surekha Sikri’s health is better and stable now. According to the reports, the actress suffered a brain stroke which was confirmed by a nurse of Juhu Hospital, Mumbai. The veteran actress was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
As per the latest reports which are turned in, Dadisa is discharged from the hospital and is in good health now. Doctor Ashutosh Shetty, who was taking care of the actress, told ETimes that she has gone to her home two days ago and her condition is stable now. Surekha Sikri is at her place under the supervision of Pinky, her most trusted caretaker-nurse.
Dr Ashutosh Shetty, who is a neurologist, told ETimes, “Surekhaji has improved from the time she suffered the stroke. She recognises people. She is even walking with support. Of course, she will need time before she can resume working and needs physiotherapy now.” Whereas her caretaker, Pinky, said, “Honestly, her family members have forbidden me to talk. But since you have spoken to the doctor already, I can only add that Surekhaji is stable and we came home on the 22nd’s evening.”
