The year 2020 has been full of losses. We have lost one more talented artist this year. Veteran actor Vishal Anand, best known for his film ‘Chalte Chalte’ passed away on October 4, Sunday due to prolonged illness.
Bhishmam Kohil also known as Vishal Anand passed away on 4th October. He was suffering from illness for a long time. He was best known for his roles in ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa’, ‘Dil Se Mile Dil’, and many more. He appeared in 11films in total, also producing and directing some of them. Actor and former Video Jockey (VJ) Purab Kohil is his nephew.
Anand’s greatest hit Chalte Chalte, where he stars opposite Simi Garewal was one of his films produced by him. He is also credited with giving music director, Bappi Lahiri, his big break in Bollywood when he chose himself as the film’s music director
