Vedang Raina’s performance in his debut film ‘The Archies’ was appreciated. Shortly after that, the young actor was in the parlance of the town being romantically linked with another co-star Khushi Kapoor. This rumoured relationship has been a low key one and although the two have been seen together on sundry occasions. Over and over, Vedang has also recently avoided questions regarding the rumours that he had an affair with Khushi.
Recently in the interview for GQ Magazine, the actor was elaborate regarding his ‘dating’ habits and the upcoming movie ‘Jigra’ along with Alia Bhatt. When asked about the rumors that were linking him to Khushi, Vedang replied, “My dating life right now is taking a back seat because I’m focused on my career… I’m enjoying where I am, and there’s a lot more I want to achieve. It’s not that dating would necessarily hinder me, but it can become a major part of your life. So I’m choosing to stay mindful of that and concentrate on what’s most important.”
Speaking of Jigra, Vedang said in the course of the interview, that he planned to shoot it with Alia. He said, “She’s the polar opposite of me as an actor, and honestly, it’s so confusing! Watching her, it’s clear she’s brilliant and makes a significant impact. I come in with extensive preparation, setting the mood with my playlist and sitting in a corner, immersing myself in the scene. Then, Alia arrives, and bam! She nails it in the first take, and I’m left amazed.”
