Varun Dhawan, who is known for sharing a good camaraderie with all his co-stars, recently addressed an allegations that he sometimes crosses the line with his female leads, namely Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani.
While the actor shared screen space with Kiara in Jugjugg Jeeyo, he was seen in Alia in couple of movies such as Student Of The Year, Kalank, and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, the actor said, “Chhedam-Chhaadi, if it is done in a happy space, a good space, whether it is a man or a woman… I have fun with my male co-stars as well, but nobody mentions that.”
When mentioned his photoshoot with Kiara, when Varun randomly kissed the actress, he said, “I’m glad you asked me this. It was planned. Both Kiara and I posted that clip. It was a digital cover, and they wanted some movement and action, so we planned that.” When inquired over Kiara looking surprised with the kiss, VD said that she acted.
However, he also admitted that the video where he pushed Kiara in pool, as a prank, was not planned, and he “did [it] on purpose.”
Speaking of another incident, where Varun grabbed Alia by waist, VD said, “I did it in fun. It wasn’t flirting. We’re friends.”
