Varun Dhawan shares a video showcasing bustling markets and traffic jam in the vicinity of Bandra

Badlapur star Varun Dhawan recently shared a video on Instagram that showed people freely moving on the streets of Bandra. The actor urged for also letting cinema theatres open.

Varun Dhawan is one of the top-rated actors in the B-Town currently. Leaving October of Soojit Sircar, all his films have fared well at the box office. His comic timing and attractive physique leave his fans stunned and always rooting for him. He is a media-savvy person and regularly updates his fans about his films or personal life on social media platforms. But this time he has headlines due to another reason. We all know, how bad pandemic has hit society. Even well off people were having financial problems due to job loss or loss in business. The same went with cinema owners.

Reacting to the current situation Varun Dhawan shared a video on his Instagram that showcased the busy streets of Bandra. People were seen busy shopping while the road was jammed with private vehicles and auto-rickshaws. In the story, he also wrote, “Everything open but theatres remain shut?”. The story showed concern Varun’s concern for pandemic stuck theatres. And above all it seems a sort of mismanagement when people are allowed to gather in markets, malls and gyms but cinema halls are closed.

Maharashtra is the only state that has not allowed cinema theatres to open. West Bengal, Telangana, Delhi, Karnataka and many others with certain precautions have allowed opening theatres. Some of them needed people to have been vaccinated while some of them opened to 50 of the total capacity. But in Maharasthra all cinema halls were completely shut. To promote the footfalls in the theatres Akshay Kumar starrer, Bell Bottom was released in theatres. According to producers the shutdown in Maharashtra ate up 30% of their business.
