Due to the COVID-19, a considerable section of the Bollywood industry is struggling through unemployment, and are finding it difficult to sustain themselves. Amidst, of this pandemic turmoil, Varun Dhawan has won the hearts of people by offering a helping hand to those in crisis.

Raj Surani, a former Bollywood background dancer in his recent interaction with ET revealed, “Varun Dhawan has helped the needy dancers. He has worked with a lot of them in three dance films. He was very concerned about how the dancers are managing their livelihood. He promised to help them and try and address their problems.” There are many dancers who continue to face issues with their landlords over rent. There are others who have ailing parents and there are seniors who need medicine from time to time. We are thankful to all those who are helping the dancers. Though shooting has begun dancers will have to wait for a really long time before they can go back on sets.”

The actor expressed his gratitude towards his fans in a recent Instagram post, ‘30 MILLION #varuniacs, Thank u for believing in me Keep moving on the beat
Thank u @stevenroythomas for this edit’.
