Varun Dhawan depressed over Baby John failure? Co-star Rajpal Yadav spills the beans

Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John recently released in theatres, and while the buzz around the film was much high, it failed to perform as per the expectations. Several media portals reported that due to the box office failure of Baby John, Varun has been depressed. Now, Rajpal Yadav, who played the role of constable Ram Sevak in the movie, a deputy to Varun’s character, has spoken about it.

During his recent interview, the actor said that the film would have worked better, if the people had not watched Theri, the original Tamil movie.

While talking to Bollywood Bubble, he was also asked if Varun is “depressed” after Baby John’s failure, to which he replied, “Varun is such a sweet boy, very hardworking. He has always tried to do something different, and his attempts must be appreciated because it’s a big deal to take risks.”

Baby John was released on December 24, 2024, and it also features Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in pivotal role. The movie also featured a cameo by Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun has exciting lineup of movies such as Border 2 with Sunny Deol, No Entry 2 with Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor.
