Urmila Matondkar has reportedly filed for divorce from husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after their marriage of eight years. Fans loved the duo as they broke the norms with their beautiful marriage.
A report in Hindustan Times has claimed that the actress has filed for divorce in a Mumbai court. A source told the portal that the Rangeela actress reached her decision after careful consideration and decided to call it quits with Mohsin Akhtar Mir. However, the report did not suggest any reason behind the alleged divorce.
For those unaware, Urmila and Mohsin got married in 2016 in a rather intimate wedding ceremony. The pair were together for quite some time, before they decided onto tying the knot. Not only that, but the actress was 10 years older than Mohsin.
Speaking of Mohsin, he is a businessman and a model from Kashmir. The duo first met at Manish Malhotra’s niece’s wedding. While the designer indirectly played Cupid’s part in their story, he was one of the few celebrities invited to their wedding as well.
Meanwhile, neither Urmila nor Mohsin has reacted to the divorce news.
