Urfi Javed reveals her arrest video is FAKE, reveals it was a publicity stunt!

Urfi Javed is a sensational personality, who has gone immensely viral through her bizarre choice of clothes. She is seen wearing unique attires that are eye-catching and often gets trolled on social media. The Bigg Boss fame is talked about a lot for her fashion sense and bold styles.

Recently a video surfaced all over the internet showcasing Urfi getting arrested by the Mumbai Police. Later on, the officers confronted that they did not arrested her and neither did they file any case. However, now it seems like the fake arrest was part of the marketing strategy.

Urfi took to her Instagram account and shared a video of her collaboration with a clothing brand. In the clip, she is seen in a jail and showcasing different outfits. She captioned the post by writing, “Arrested by the fashion police for my fierce fashion game, but nothing can stop me! Excited to announce FREAKIN’ UORFICATION my collection launch with @Freakinsindia.”

She also posted a story regarding the same, stating that the fake arrest was part of the campaign shoot for a brand.

Mumbai police has also released a statement on X saying, “One cant Violate Law of The Land, For Cheap Publicity! A viral video of a women being allegedly arrested by Mumbai Police, in a case of obscenity is not true – insignia and uniform has been misused.”

They have also filed an FIR under IPC sections 171, 410, 500, and 34 at Oshiwara. Police also arrested the fake officer and the vehicle has also been confiscated by the authorities.
