Twinkle Khanna is tired of hearing the same question again and again. The writer in her latest column for Times of India shared that she has been continuously asked the same question of how it feels to be a ‘star wife’. The actress, who is wife of Akshay Kumar, said that she has learned to deal with the question with a response that only has words of wisdom.
“Sitting for an interview, I am asked, ‘You are a star wife; tell us what it’s like?’ While my first instinct is to bite the reporter’s index finger, I reply, ‘I am not sure that an entity like ‘star wife’ exists, unless, in the way that Manglik women marry trees, because of some Rahu Ketu ka dosh, you end up marrying Sirius or worse, Halley’s Comet.’,” she wrote, in her column.
Twinkle added that she learnt to tackle the question over the years. “After 20 years of answering this annoying question, I have an oyster-like attitude to irritants and the ability to craft black pearls of wisdom in response,” she added. The actress also talked about how she is often blamed for having difference in our political view.
Twinkle and Akshay got married in January 2001, and have two kids together – son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
