F.I.R fame Vipul Roy said he was all ready to get married with her U.S based girlfriend Melis Atici but they couldn’t do that because of the lockdown due to Coronavirus. The lockdown had ended their wedding plans and now it’s postponed for now.
In an interaction with ETimes, the actor shared the fact that they were living-in in Mumbai for the last few months. After that Melis has decided to visit San Francisco to meet her parents and now, they haven’t met since then.
Sharing the insights of their wedding plans, Vipul said, “We were planning to finalise the wedding date and venue after she returned from the US in March. In fact, we had already finalised the court marriage date. Her entire family was planning to fly down to India, but unfortunately, the pandemic has changed everything.”
The actor revealed that sometimes they break down in video calls as it’s hard for them to stay apart but still, they have no choice.
“We are regularly in touch through video calls and often, both of us break down. We were together for seven months in Mumbai before she left. Ever since we first met, we have never been apart from each other for so long. Having said that, we have no choice except accepting the situation,” said the actor.
Melis is an owner of an I.T. company and they met when Vipul went to the U.S. for a trip in 2016. The couple is said to be living together in Mumbai.
