Several media portals’ reports, on Saturday, suggested that veteran actor Tiku Talsania has suffered a massive heart attack, following which he was rushed to a hospital in Andheri, Mumbai. Now, his wife Deepti Talsania has clarified that the comedian has suffered a brain stroke on Friday night and was immediately admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
While speaking to NDTV, Deepti confirmed the news of the actor’s hospitalization, and revealed details saying, “He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He had gone to attend a film screening and started feeling unwell around 8 pm. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.”
Earlier, the reports suggested that Tiku was attending the screening of Rashami Desai’s Gujarati film Mom Tane Naa Samjay at PVR Icon in Andheri at 9 pm. From the event, he was immediately rushed to hospital as he complained of discomfort.
For those unaware, Tiku Talsania is a popular face when it comes to comic roles. He has played some of the most popular characters in movies such as Special 26, Andaz Apna Apna, Judwa, Hungama, Dhamaal, and his latest role being in Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Voh Wala Video.
